WATCH LIVE at 12 p.m.: NASA to give update ahead of Crew-13 launch from Florida

NASA is set to hold a pair of news conferences on Monday to preview the upcoming Crew-13 mission to the International Space Station.Mission leadership will kick off the briefings at the Johnson Space Center with a mission overview at noon. Crew members will then take the stage at 2 p.m. The Crew-13 mission will carry four crew members to the orbiting laboratory: NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov. The crew is scheduled to launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station no earlier than mid-September.Watkins, a geologist who previously logged 170 days aboard the space station during Crew-4 in 2022, will serve as commander.
