Expect another nice day in Central Florida. Thursday will be mostly sunny and warm with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. It will remain mainly dry. Areas from Orlando south will see the possibility of a few showers Thursday night. Meteorologist Kassandra Crimi says rain chances in the Channel 9 viewing area will increase on Friday as our next front approaches. The front will bring some significant changes this coming weekend. Wet and windy weather is on the way.On Saturday, following the front, wind gusts will likely reach 25 to 35 mph. Crimi says the winds will get even stronger on Sunday. There will likely be wind advisories issued for large portions of Central Florida over the weekend. Additionally, our seas will deteriorate. High and choppy surf is expected, with waves building 8 to 10 feet. That means we will also see coastal advisories issued for beachgoers and boaters.Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps. And click here to stream Channel 9 Eyewitnes
