Brevard County deputies are searching for a woman they say shot a storage facility manager during a dispute over a unit Saturday morning in Palm Bay.The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspected shooter as Kandice Jo Pierce, who had recently rented a unit at Public Storage on Babcock Street, just north of Palm Bay Road. Sheriff Wayne Ivey said Pierce should be considered armed and dangerous. The employee, described by deputies as the facility manager, was shot with what appeared to be a small-caliber handgun. The injury is not believed to be life-threatening.According to the sheriff’s office, Pierce was inside the storage unit with another adult woman when the shooting happened. Investigators said they needed to locate the other woman to determine who had the firearm and fired the shot.Deputies said they are working with the Brevard County State Attorney’s Office to finalize a warrant for attempted first-degree murder. Pierce is also wanted on an unrelated arson warrant.I
