
Man charged with attempted murder following downtown Orlando stabbing

SOUTH HEART, N.D. — A 69-year-old South Dakota man died Friday, Oct. 9, after his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a fence west of South Heart, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 1:22 p.m. Mountain time in the 12400 block of Old Highway 10. According to the Highway Patrol, the man, from Yankton, South Dakota, was traveling westbound on a 2007 Honda motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a fence bordering Interstate 94. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained fatal injuries. His identity was not immediately released. Road conditions were dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the crash. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Stark County Sheriff's Office and Billings County Emergency Medical Service responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. ]]>
